These are random pictures from December 2003.
This is the first nice-looking picture I took with my digital camera. Because of the low exposure range of digital cameras, I actually had to take two pictures, one for the light parts and one for the dark parts, and put them together later on the computer.
I know puddles are overdone, but I still liked this scene.
This picture was originally the very right side of a panorama of the river, but I like it much better by itself. If I finish it and put it in the normal galleries, I'll probably crop off some of the left side.
Some friends of mine did beautiful things with blue christmas lights intertwined with their wine glasses.
A reasonable picture from the digicam! It's even correctly exposed!
This was originally part of a series of exposure tests for the camera, but it turned out pretty well.
reflections in the canal
I walk by this on the way to work many days, and was amused.
Christmas Day had amazing weather here.
taken at the same time. I love this picture.
I got a second monitor for my computer shortly after upgrading the computer itself. I also realized that my computer is now fast enough to play Playstation games. I'm putting my second monitor to good use.
The nice weather continued, and I continued to be out in it.
all the lights were on for New Years in Boston
Some of the ice sculptures managed in spite of the warmth.
and that's about it from me. Happy New Year, everybody!
